About NBG Custom Renovations
Built on Craftsmanship, Rooted in Peterborough
A family-run renovation company with over 20 years of hands-on experience — turning your ideas into spaces you'll love coming home to.
Our Story
NBG Custom Renovations was founded in 2025 right here in Peterborough — but the experience behind it goes back over two decades. With more than 20 years in the trades as a licensed carpenter and licensed electrician, we've built the kind of knowledge that only comes from years of real work on real homes.
Starting NBG was about doing things the right way. As a family-run business, we bring a personal investment to every project that larger companies simply can't match. When you invite us into your home, we treat it with the same care and respect we'd give our own.
What drives us most is taking a client's vision — whether it's a rough sketch on a napkin or a fully planned design — and making it a reality. There's nothing more rewarding than handing over a finished space and seeing the look on a homeowner's face.
Trades You Can Count On
With dual licensing in carpentry and electrical work, we bring a level of expertise to every renovation that goes beyond the surface. That means fewer subcontractors, tighter coordination, and a finished result that's built to last.
Licensed Carpenter
Over 20 years of precision woodworking, framing, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
Licensed Electrician
Full electrical capability in-house — no waiting on outside trades to keep your project moving.

Two decades of hands-on renovation work across kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full home projects.
Family-Run Business
You deal directly with the owner — no middlemen, no miscommunication, just honest work done right.

We take pride in the details. From the first nail to the final finish, every element is done with care and built to stand the test of time.
Respect for Your Home
We treat your space like our own — keeping it clean, protecting your belongings, and minimizing disruption to your daily life.
Proud to Serve Peterborough
Peterborough is home — and that means everything to us. We're not a big-city contractor parachuting in for a job. We live here, we work here, and we're invested in the quality of homes in this community for the long haul.
